Product Release Notes – October 2026

This release is a big one: a full activity history for every applicant, built-in reasonable adjustments, self-serve ID checks, and a raft of new controls to keep your account secure.

Applicant activity log

Checking on a candidate no longer means piecing things together from different screens. Each applicant now has a single activity log showing their interview progress, any support issues and the delivery status of every email we've sent them. If an email failed to arrive, eligible messages can be resent straight from the log.

Open it from the applicant's menu or from the Review screen. Reviewers will see the log for any applicant they already have access to.

Questions in advance (reasonable adjustment)

Offering interview questions in advance used to mean a manual workaround, with questions emailed separately and deadlines adjusted by hand. It's now built into the platform. Admins can switch on a questions-in-advance adjustment for an individual applicant, and the applicant chooses when to reveal their questions.

Revealing the questions starts a timed completion window, with a clear countdown in hours and minutes so the applicant always knows how long they have left to complete and submit. Every adjustment is recorded in an audit trail and is hidden from reviewers, so assessment stays fair.

Self-serve ID document upload

You can now switch on ID document upload yourself, without needing to ask us. It's available as a toggle in the interview creation wizard, and the interview summary confirms whether it's on both before and after you publish.

To make ID checks easy to keep track of, an ID card icon now appears next to the activity title in your pipeline and activity list whenever ID upload is on. We've also tightened things up for candidates: an interview that requires ID will now only start once an ID photo has been attached.

Clearer applicant statuses in the pipeline

It's now much easier to see exactly how far each applicant has got. Instead of broad "incomplete" groupings, applicants who haven't finished yet now carry clearer labels: Awaiting response, Interview opened, Accepted, ID uploaded, ID verified and Interview in progress. That makes it simpler to spot who needs a nudge and where people are dropping off.

Your existing tabs, counts and filters all stay the same. The ID labels only appear on jobs with ID steps switched on.

Account security & admin controls

We've added a set of improvements to help you keep your account secure and see what's going on at a glance:

Sensitive settings limited to the Manager role. API keys, company name and logo, brands, marketplace settings, email templates and company defaults can now only be viewed and changed by account holders with the Manager role. Account holders without that role will no longer see these settings.

Sign-in status for every user. Your user lists now show how each person signs in: SSO, MFA, No SSO/MFA or Inactive (no activity for 90 days), so it's easy to spot users relying on a password alone or accounts that have gone dormant.

Session countdown. The account menu now shows a live "Session ends in" timer, so you're never caught out by being signed out. It resets as you work.

Data retention period. The Company tab now shows, read-only, how many days after a candidate's latest application their personal information is removed – no need to ask us.

Protected API keys. Your company API key is now masked in settings and can be revealed once, after a warning. If you need to see it again, just get in touch with Support.

Rollout: Auto-enabled
Available to: All clients
Action required: Please check that the right people in your team have the Manager role, so they keep access to API keys, branding and email templates. If you copy your API key, store it somewhere secure.

Other improvements

More answer time options. Answer time now includes 6, 7, 8 and 9 minutes, filling the gap between 5 and 10. Existing activities stay as they are.

Fuller Test Partnership results. Gamified and Critical Thinking results now show additional assessment scores, giving reviewers a more complete picture of each candidate.

Simpler Coaching Hub sign-up. The "Before we continue" screen no longer asks for a mobile number, so people just see the privacy information and their consent choices.

Distributing to reviewers. Hand-picked applicants are now added to each reviewer's existing assignments, rather than replacing them.

Interviews created from templates. New interviews now follow your company's current settings (including ID upload, review settings, emails and welcome content), and jobs created from rubric-scored templates now carry over the full rubric.
