Product Release Notes – July 2026
This month's release is all about giving you more control over how candidates are assessed — from reducing bias in your interviews to building your own assessment stages — alongside stronger security and a simpler way to manage everyone in your account. Here's what's new.
Audio-only interviews
Reduce bias in your assessment process by having reviewers evaluate candidates on what they say, not how they look. You can now set an interview to capture audio-only responses, or keep the full video recording for Account Holders while restricting reviewers to audio only — giving you a fairer, more focused review without losing the footage you may still need.
Enable audio-only against an individual question when setting up your interview for a fully audio experience, or use the reviewer-level setting to limit specific reviewers to audio only.
Rollout: Auto-enabled Available to: All clients Action required: None — it's ready to use whenever you set up your next interview.
Questionnaire Builder
Design your own assessments, entirely on your terms. The new Questionnaire Builder lets you create multiple-choice and written exercises yourself, so you can add extra assessment stages or build prep activities that sit alongside your video interviews — no need to wait on anyone to set them up for you.
Rollout: Contact your AM or CSM to switch this on Available to: All clients Action required: Get in touch with your Account Manager or CSM and we'll enable it for you.
Pressurised retries
Keep interview responses natural and in the moment. When you allow candidates to reattempt a question, you can now set a countdown on how long they have to decide whether to retry — removing the chance for extended prep time between takes and giving you more authentic, spontaneous answers.
Set your preferred pressurised retry timer, up to 30 seconds, against each question when building an interview with multiple attempts enabled.
Rollout: Auto-enabled Available to: All clients Action required: None — the timer option is waiting for you in your interview setup.
Multi-factor authentication for admins & reviewers
Add an extra layer of protection to the accounts that access your candidate data. You can now enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for admin and reviewer logins as an alternative to SSO — a simple way to strengthen security across your team.
MFA can be switched on for account holders, reviewers, or both.
Rollout: Contact your AM or CSM to switch this on Available to: All clients Action required: Let your Account Manager or CSM know who you'd like MFA enabled for and we'll set it up.
Users dashboard
Everyone in your account, now in one place. The new Users dashboard brings all of your users together so you can see each person's completed activities at a glance, run mass communications directly to them, and manage your community more easily. If you're running campaigns, you can view all completed activities per applicant in one place, engage entire cohorts around specific activities using the mass-email tool, and even pre-register students without having to invite them to a specific activity first.
Find it via the new Users button in the left-hand navigation of your admin area.
Rollout: Auto-enabled Available to: All clients Action required: None — just look for the Users button in your navigation.
