To get started with Shortlister, you might need to give permission for your camera to be accessed in your web browser. Simply follow the steps below based on the browser you're using to ensure everything is set up correctly.
Chrome
- Click on the 'tune browser' icon in the far left of your address bar
- Ensure the 'Camera' and 'Microphone' are turned on
- If asked, click 'Reload' to apply changes.
Firefox
- When prompted, choose your preferred camera and microphone, then click 'Allow'.
- If not prompted, click the camera icon in the address bar
- Check 'Remember for all cameras and microphones'
Edge
- If your microphone and camera access are not enabled, a prompt will appear; please click ‘Allow’ to grant access.
- If you don't see a prompt, click on the 'padlock' icon in the address bar and select 'Permission for this site' to adjust your settings
- Make sure that 'Camera' and 'Microphone' are both set to 'Allow'
- If asked, click 'Reload' to apply changes.
Safari
- You will be prompted to grant access to your microphone and camera, click ‘Allow’.
- To remember this setting, click the video camera icon in the address bar, then select ‘Always Allow on "assessment.shortlister.com"’.
